One Drop's projects will soon have improved the living conditions of more than 2.1 million people, in 13 countries.   ### **Our Commitment to Community** Nearly 800 million people in the world lack access to clean water. At Guusto, we recognize that making a positive impact goes beyond the people who work within our office walls. Our mission from day one was to build purpose into the core of the company, so from the very beginning we teamed up with the One Drop Foundation to donate one day of clean drinking water for every gift sent. This means that with every gift an employee receives, the life of someone in the world improves.  At Guusto, we believe actions matter. That’s why we advocate for recognition and rewards for great actions at work. But we also believe our actions beyond the workplace are just as important. That’s why we created bold core values that empower everyone at work to take action that impacts not just an employee, coworker, or manager but that also produces a ripple effect throughout the company, the community, and across the world. Guusto makes this possible not only by creating tools that make it easy to recognize and reward employee accomplishments but also by donating one day of clean water for every gift sent. An employee reward may seem like a small drop in a very large bucket but with Guusto, that small drop can have global impact.    **About One Drop** [One Drop™](https://www.onedrop.org/en/) is an international foundation created by Cirque du Soleil founder, Guy Laliberté. The foundation’s mission is to ensure sustainable access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene for some of the world’s most vulnerable communities, through innovative partnerships, creativity, and the power of art.   The One Drop approach goes Beyond Building Infrastructure. The OneDrop A·B·C for Sustainability™ model consists of providing safe and equitable ACCESS to services, activating BEHAVIOUR CHANGE through social art interventions, and encouraging CAPITAL supporting market-based solutions.  ![](https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/iyZnJEf7k94HLjA5N6cxS65k5FebC3KQMdgAlqlFRRjmOQ7-HsrYMiBZahciKA5ZihtjXq4chooW2-oGl7ht6zluPJ0OEIjuXhxNQKTluVyDCM5OxdAtuMWWSZ8_NjJ5FZU_4_NW) **Unique Social Art For Behavioral Change ** OneDrop creates interactive spaces where community members work alongside artists to inspire, activate, and sustain behavior change. This approach puts people and emotions first as a means of tackling hygiene and sanitation-related behaviors, such as handwashing with water and soap.    [**People impacted**](https://www.onedrop.org/workspace/uploads/files/l4_two-pagers_about_us_3april_lr.pdf) **in communities across Latin America, the Caribbean, Africa, India, and Nunavik:**  - 982,800 as of December 31, 2019.  - 2,176,700 projected once the projects are complete. ## Change the World We believe that everyone has the power to make an impact. Recognition makes a considerable impact in how employees view their workplace. With Guusto, employees are empowered to see how their actions and recognition can make a bigger impact in the world. We want to thank all of our amazing members, as we would not be able to do this without your efforts!
